As a developer for the IT Crew Obtain Pension Solutions at UBS, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Work closely with the Requirements Engineer, the Solution Architect, and the Product Owner to translate requirements into tasks and stories for the development team - Be an active member of the development team (Backend & Frontend) to deliver software that enables business growth and strategy - Ensure the highest quality delivery of software and implement quality measures and checks - Manage the full development cycle including documentation, unit testing, and test automation scripting - Support the team with your own development skills and abilities Your expertise should include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field with more than 5 years of experience in Java Backend - Proficiency in Java, Test Driven Development, design patterns, distributed architecture, and REST API implementation - Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, JEE, Servlets, JPA (Hibernate), SQL, RDBMS, and DML / DDL scripts - Familiarity with Cloud native technology, DevOps, Flowable Business Process Automation, and Agile Methodologies - Strong problem-solving skills, team player with excellent communication skills, and fluency in English - Ideally, 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry and expertise in Web development with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and Web unit/integration testing About UBS: UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager, operating through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management, and the Investment Bank.
