Role Overview: As a Service Improvement, Risk & Control lead at UBS, you will be a part of the global team of reference data specialists dedicated to enhancing client experience and driving continuous improvement in the financial markets. Your role involves acting as an enabler in driving change, managing metrics, monitoring key processes, and sharing best practices to reduce operational risks for reference data. Your contribution will be crucial in delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to clients. Key Responsibilities: - Manage aspects of large scale, high complex initiatives including planning, execution, quality, client satisfaction, and issue identification. - Identify and manage senior stakeholders and clients, establish effective communication channels, and ensure stakeholder management and engagement. - Lead and execute high impact improvement projects using methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean, or analytical problem-solving. - Coordinate initiative tasks among different divisions, streams, crews, and vendors. - Resolve cross-stream conflicts, align with leads, and facilitate reprioritization efforts. - Formulate mechanisms to enhance, measure, track, and report performance. - Act as a point of escalation for all risk-related issues, perform risk assessment, and actively mitigate risks. Qualifications Required: - Proven track record in project coordination and managing diverse project demands. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Curious mindset with a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving. - Strong attention to detail and understanding of project management tools. - Experience and understanding of merger or acquisition processes is a plus.
