Overall purpose of the role
- Line manager for M&E staff.
- Lead M&E India Local Projects.
- Work in-sync with TD/AD1 for development of the M&E Team.
- Recruitments for M&E Hub.
- Member of the AG MT, overseeing a portfolio of M&E projects with special focus on Maritime projects.
- To provide support to the MT of the AG in building a strong AG both in terms of technical excellence, project management and delivery.
- Contribute and work together with the Business Development (BD) team in winning local external projects.
- Be a member of the MT of the AG achieving the targets from the annual plan.
- Responsible for all projects assigned in terms of financial result, time, quality, client satisfaction, safety and deliverables.
What will you do
General Responsibilities and activities
- Involvement in implementation of the M&E Hub.
- Develop M&E India team.
- Ensure project delivery for the M&E projects.
- Implement Haskoning s internal QHSE processes for all M&E projects.
- Liaise with Human Resources in managing the employees and staffing.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the reporting staff.
- Ensure knowledge of the teams in term of technical capabilities, personal qualifications and relevant software.
- Ensure the training and development for Project Managers, Team Leads and Engineers.
- In co-operation with BD team and the rest of the MT maintain contacts with existing clients and develop contacts with new clients in the framework of Haskoning s Business Development strategy, identifying new opportunities, maintain network and client relationships, strengthening and building Haskoning s business, brand and reputation in the Indian market.
Authorities :
- Attend and contribute to MT Meetings.
- Being a Mentor/Coach of Project Managers and Project Co-Ordinators.
- Encourage staff to attend the training/workshop/seminar related to personal improvement and team development in terms of technical skill and knowledge.
- Operate the P&D cycle for reporting staff including regular informal check ins.
- Propose adjustment of staff salary increments and other contractual aspects.
Technical/ Administrative Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular team meetings for the local projects and M&E hub works.
- Responsible for successful project delivery and completion, by supporting the project manager and the team.
- Final approver of time sheets, expense claims etc. from members of assigned projects to you.
- Responsible for project financial forecasts of the projects assigned to you.
- Ensure that the staff has appropriate capabilities and adequate experience, training, and qualifications to effectively produce the design documentation in current and upcoming projects and manage the projects.
- Support the project managers in allocating staff to projects based on technical skill and expertise.
- Complaints handling for all activities (internal and/or external) in the Project Team, by supporting the project managers/team leads or stepping in, as escalation.
- Motivate the team to constantly meet quality of working standards & deliverables. Lead by example.
- Communication with internal & External Stakeholder.

What you bring
- A full time bachelors degree preferably B.E. Electrical.
- Minimum of 20 years of relevant Leadership experience in M &E background.
