Job Description

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Ability to independently lead execution of multiple ECM transactions.
Support in ideating and developing pitch books / presentation material for the purpose of client meetings
Support senior bankers on business development and coverage of companies / industries for various assignments
Handle customary ECM related regulatory compliances
Lead execution of 6-7 ECM transactions over the course of the year including managing the deal team and other working group, for smooth transaction execution and closure
Build sound understanding of the products and service offerings of CLSA
Ideate with the senior team on pitching for new business opportunities
Stay up to on various regulations governing capital raising and keep relevant materials and databases updated

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in executing equity capital market transactions such as IPOs, Follow-ons (QIPs etc), Block placements, etc. is a must
Strong knowledge and understanding of the regulatory regime as well as regulations & nuances governing capital raising
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple assignments frequently
Strong presentation, research and analytical skills
Good interpersonal, excellent english communications and client management skills
MBA from a Tier 1 institute and / or CA (rank holder)
At least 8 years of prior relevant experience in investment banking/equity capital markets execution with a reputed IB firm. Prior advisory / PE syndication experience will be an added plus
