Role Overview

Associate Director – Admissions

This is a high-impact, high-ownership role ideal for a result-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced, performance-driven environments and is passionate about shaping the next generation of business and tech leaders.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Admissions Funnel Management

  • Own the complete admissions lifecycle—from inquiry to enrollment—for the MU Undergraduate Program.
  • Build and implement strategies for lead generation, nurturing, application management, and conversion.
  • Drive targeted campaigns and interventions across different stages of the funnel.

2. Strategy & Team Leadership

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing admissions counselling team.
  • Develop KPIs and performance dashboards to track team output and funnel movement.
  • Work closely with marketing and brand teams to optimize campaign effectiveness and audience targeting.

3. Conversion Optimization

  • Drive conversion metrics through continuous process improvements, counselling training, and data analytics.
  • Monitor daily funnel performance, address blockers, and execute interventions to improve enrollment rates.
  • Personalize communication strategies for high-intent applicants and their parents.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Coordinate with academic, product, and leadership teams to align admissions strategy with institutional goals.
  • Ensure seamless communication between the counselling team and operations teams for a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Regularly engage with student ambassadors, faculty, and alumni to showcase the program’s value proposition.

5. Data & Reporting

  • Use CRM and analytics tools to track lead behavior, source effectiveness, and counsellor performance.
  • Generate weekly/monthly reports for leadership review, highlighting key funnel trends and growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field
  • 6–10 years of experience in admissions, sales, or business development in an education/EdTech organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end admissions funnels and achieve ambitious conversion targets.
  • Strong team management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Data-driven approach with proficiency in CRM systems and funnel reporting tools.
  • Comfort with a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
