Practice Director - Data & Analytics

Key Responsibilities

Architect & Design:
Design and implement scalable, enterprise-grade data solutions on
Azure
and
Databricks
.
End-to-End Delivery:
Lead the full data lifecycle — ingestion, transformation, modeling, orchestration, and consumption.
Data Strategy:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define data strategies and reference architectures aligned with business needs.
Framework Development:
Build reusable, metadata-driven frameworks for ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.
Pre-Sales & Solutioning:
Contribute to proposals, create technical estimates, and design solution architectures for client engagements.
Governance & Quality:
Implement best practices around data governance, quality, lineage, and security.

Must-Have Skills

Proven experience in
proposal writing, effort estimation, and pre-sales solutioning
Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Data Services
: Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, SQL DB
Deep knowledge of
Databricks
(Spark, Delta Lake, Lakehouse)
Solid understanding of
data warehouse modeling
(star/snowflake schemas)
Exposure to
CI/CD, DevOps
, and infrastructure-as-code practices
Strong grasp of
data governance, cataloging, observability
, and security best practices

Good to Have

Knowledge of
Microsoft Fabric
Experience with event-driven architectures
(Event Grid, Kafka, etc.)
Exposure to
Power BI
or similar BI/visualization tools
Relevant certifications in
Azure Data Engineering
or
Databricks
