Associate Consultant- Digital Strategy

Role Overview: As a Tech in ESG professional at KPMG in India, you will play a crucial role in advising and partnering with corporates in their decarbonization journey. Your primary responsibility will be to work on technology aspects in the ESG space, including IT landscape assessments, creating digital strategy and roadmap, project management, energy management and optimization, and industry 4.0 aspects such as data collection and transmission. Additionally, you will be involved in marketing aspects like responding to RFPs, RFI, creating thought leaderships, and related areas. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate excellent communication skills and adaptability to work in a collaborative consulting environment - Collaborate with teams to understand business challenges, innovate solutions, and drive end-to-end project and program management - Utilize 4 to 6 years of techno-functional hands-on experience in ESG-Tech - Possess a strong understanding of Information Technology business, synergies between technology, ESG, and Industry 4.0, landscape mapping, designing and defining strategy and roadmap - Familiarity with ESG frameworks, energy monitoring and optimization techniques across various industries, and current tech trends in the ESG space - Manage delivery and contribute to building business Qualifications Required: - Deep understanding of IT and its role in enabling ESG and growth - Proficiency in Information Technology business, synergies between technology and ESG skills like Energy efficiency, Net-Zero, Sustainability etc. - Experience in delivering at least one in-depth engagement focusing on technology in ESG - Knowledge of governance and support models including Outsourcing models, IT Operating model, IT financial management, IT delivery models etc. - Prior consulting experience will be advantageous Additional Details: Flexibility to travel to client locations in India/abroad for client meetings and engagement delivery is required. You will work closely with peers and seniors across service offerings and functional competencies, handle conversations with senior and mid-level management, demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, visualization skills to build presentations, think innovatively in rapidly evolving situations, and possess core consulting skills including presentation skills, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
