Administer and supervise all types of anesthesia (general, regional, etc.) for surgical procedures in the operating room (OT).
Provide expert care and management for patients in intensive care units (ICUs), critical care units (CCUs), and recovery rooms.
Conduct pre-anesthetic consultations (PAC) and post-operative monitoring and management.
Manage pain clinics and emergency care settings.
Supervise residents and junior faculty during clinical duties, ensuring high standards of patient safety and care.

Teaching & Academics:

Lead academic sessions, lectures, clinical demonstrations, and hands-on training for undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD/DNB) students.
Develop and update the anesthesia curriculum as per NMC and university guidelines.
Mentor and guide postgraduate students in their dissertations, theses, and research projects.
Conduct university examinations and evaluate student performance.

Research & Scholarship:

Initiate and conduct independent or collaborative research in anesthesiology or related critical care fields.
Publish research findings (original papers, meta-analyses, systematic reviews, case series) in reputable journals indexed in Medline, PubMed Central, Scopus, etc..
Write grant proposals to acquire external funding for research projects.
Present research outcomes at national and international conferences.

Service & Administration:

Participate actively in departmental and institutional committees and quality assurance programs.
Assist the Head of the Department (HOD) in administrative tasks, including organizing continuing medical education (CME) and skill development workshops.
