Assistant Vice President, Collection Strategy, Risk Management Group

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Team Lead to manage and oversee our Unsecured Loan portfolio, with a specific focus on managing Collection Strategy for Pan India. This role involves close collaboration with the Credit team, Business Units (BUs), and the OPS team to drive operational excellence and ensure better control over key business parameters such as Non-Standard Portfolio (NSP), collections performance, and credit performance.

The candidate will possess a strong understanding of unsecured lending, collections processes, and a proven track record in managing partnerships and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:

1. Reporting & Analysis:

• Manage and create Collections Dashboard
• Automate existing MIS and Create new ones basis requirements

1. Collections Vendor Management:

• Manage payout and invoicing of Collections Vendors.
• Create new Payout Grid and simulate on vendor cost.
• Managing and forecasting vendor cost

1. Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with Credit, Business and OPS teams for portfolio projections.

1. Performance Management for In-house Team & Collections Vendors:

• Prepare KPI for in-house team and vendors and track performance against targets
• Capacity Plan and implementation

1. Regulatory & Compliance:

• Ensure all operations within unsecured partnerships comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.
• Keep updated with any changes in regulations and adjust business strategies and operations accordingly.

Skills:

• Strong experience in managing collections strategy of unsecured loans
• Advance Excel, SQL and python
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess portfolio health and recommend actionable strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both external partners and internal teams effectively.
