Job Title: Assistant Store Manager – Retail (Supermarket) Location: Pallavaram Job Type: Full-time Salary: 18000 to 20000 Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Assistant Store Manager to join our supermarket team . In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest level of customer service . Ideal candidates will have retail grocery experience and a hands-on approach to leadership. Key Responsibilities: Assist with daily store operations including opening and closing Supervise and support cashiers, stockers, and department staff Maintain inventory control and ensure shelves are fully stocked Uphold store cleanliness, safety, and food hygiene standards Assist in scheduling, training, and performance management of team members Help implement sales strategies, promotions, and merchandising displays Handle customer inquiries, returns, and complaints professionally Monitor sales goals and help drive store performance Qualifications: 1–2 years of experience in supermarket or grocery retail (required) Previous experience in a supervisory or management role preferred Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Familiarity with POS systems , inventory tools, and basic Microsoft Office WE ARE MAINLY LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO ARE IN AND NEAR PALLAVARAM LOCATION ONLY.
