Job Description

Job Summary:

The Assistant Store Keeper supports the Store Keeper in managing inventory, receiving and issuing goods, maintaining accurate stock records, and ensuring that the store area is organized and secure. This role is vital in maintaining smooth supply chain operations and preventing stock discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods and materials.
  • Issue materials and products based on requisitions and stock procedures.
  • Maintain proper records of stock movement using manual logs or inventory software.
  • Help conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies.
  • Ensure items are stored in an organized, clean, and secure manner.
  • Label and tag inventory properly for easy identification and tracking.
  • Assist in maintaining stock levels and reorder points as per guidelines.
  • Work closely with purchasing, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill requests.
  • Follow safety and hygiene protocols in the store area.
  • Report damaged, expired, or missing items to the Store Keeper or Supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
