Assistant Quality Manager

Summary / Purpose of the role

• Support for Pre-dispatch Quality by fulfilling SAP processing / Approved QAP & MOP/AOP details requirement.
• Ensure defect free supply to customer by maintaining quality check processes at Composite Painting & Packing.
• Maintain Quality requirements for Export /Europe & Critical orders.
• Customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Corrective /preventive action for repeated complaints /quality issues
• To attend 2P-2S audit at composite as per schedule.Analyasis of audit observation
• Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions for horizontal deployment
• Preparation of painting certificates & submission as per order requirement
• Inspection of pump sets packing noted as per order requirement for inland/ Export orders. Paint shade,DFT,Inspection as well as special accessories
• Preparation for uploading of export pump E-Quality records checklists, photos order wise etc.
• Preparation of monthly data / reports. (Composite shop PPM. take corrective action to control quality issues)
• Clearance from QM after packing of material with respect to D note/Packing note if required.
• Sharing of composite daily stock discrepancy with staff & painters for necessary action
• Maintain quality requirements for reliance, Export& Europe order pumps
• Review of process improvements & linkage to IMS for standardization (e.g. process audit)
• Special order pumps :DFT Measurement per coat for pumps as per painting procedure DFT given, Surface preparation ,DFT record ,Adhesion Test record
• Third party as witness
• FR & FMUL Pump check the loose materials Battery cables, tool kit,battery,coolant can,pressure gauge, fuel gauge, fuel tank. Take photos of loose materials
• Take photographs of critical as well as Europe order pumps
• Physical Verification of export order pump/Base/Pump sets
• SPP/TACO top/bottoms as per order requirements
• Active participation In Quality systems, Kaizens
• Conducting Process Audits as per plan.
• Use of PPE s must

Skills

• Calibration of DFT as well as handling of Painting Instruments.
• Conduct Adhesion Test.
• Conduct salt contamination tests
• NDT Level II – Visual testing
