Assistant Professor – Production & Operations Management

IMM Business School is seeking a qualified and experienced academic professional to teach Production & Operations Management to PGDM students. The ideal candidate will combine strong conceptual knowledge with practical industry applications in areas like operations strategy, supply chain, lean systems, and quality management.

Qualification & Experience

• MBA/PGDM with specialization in Operations / Supply Chain / Industrial Management
• Ph.D. in a related discipline preferred
• 3–5 years of teaching and/or industry experience in P&OM or related areas
• Exposure to case-based teaching, live projects, and industry collaborations is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging sessions in Production & Operations Management, Supply Chain, Project Management, etc.
• Integrate industry cases, tools & software (Excel, R, SAP, simulation tools) into teaching
• Mentor students on projects & applied learning initiatives
• Contribute to curriculum development & academic events
• Participate in academic administration & institutional growth

Skills Required

• Strong subject expertise in Operations, Supply Chain & Process Management
• Ability to connect theory with real-world applications
• Familiarity with analytical tools & modeling techniques
• Excellent communication & facilitation skills
