Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology located in Mathura. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering lectures, conducting research in the field of pharmacology, and mentoring students. Additional responsibilities include designing and evaluating course material, supervising laboratory work, contributing to curriculum development, and participating in academic and research committees. The role requires active involvement in academic events and collaboration with faculty members for interdisciplinary projects.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in teaching Pharmacology concepts and conducting lectures effectively
  • Strong research abilities, including study design, data analysis, and producing publications in peer-reviewed journals
  • Supervisory skills to mentor students in projects, research, and laboratory work
  • Collaboration and leadership skills for contributions to committee work and team-based academic activities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Commitment to academic integrity, innovation in teaching, and fostering a collaborative educational environment
  • Master’s degree in Pharmacology or a closely related field from a recognized university/institution (as per UGC/PCI norms).


Experience

  • 0–3 years of teaching and/or research experience in pharmacology.
  • Fresh postgraduates with strong research credentials may also be considered.
