Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science located at the Kanpur campus. The primary responsibilities include delivering lectures, developing course curriculum, mentoring students, guiding research projects, and contributing to the academic community through research and publications. Additionally, the Assistant Professor will participate in departmental activities, collaborate with colleagues on academic initiatives, and keep updated with advancements in the field of Computer Science.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Computer Science, including strong knowledge of foundational and advanced concepts
• Skills in Data Science and Cybersecurity
• Proficiency in Programming languages and related technologies
• Experience in Curriculum Development or syllabus design
• A track record of research publications in relevant journals is preferred
• A doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and colleagues
• Prior teaching experience in higher education institutions is an advantage
