Assistant Professor - Mechanical Engineering

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to teach diploma-level subjects as per the MSBTE (Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education) curriculum. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Mechanical concepts, be familiar with the MSBTE academic structure, and be capable of delivering practical and theory-based learning to diploma students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver theoretical and practical sessions for core Mechanical Engineering diploma

subjects, including:

• Engineering Mechanics

• Thermodynamics

• Manufacturing Processes

• Strength of Materials

• Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulic Machines

• CAD/CAM, and Machine Design

• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and lab manuals.

• Evaluate student performance through internal assessments, practicals, and examinations.

• Guide students on mini-projects and final-year projects related to Mechanical.

• Maintain student records, attendance, and assessment data as per academic standards.

• Participate in curriculum review, faculty meetings, and MSBTE academic activities.

• Stay updated with recent developments in Mechanical to enhance teaching content.

• Support students with academic doubts and career guidance in the Mechanical subject.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field

Desirable Qualifications:

• BE, ME in Mechanical Engineering or a specialised branch (optional but preferred)

• MSBTE Teaching/Assessment experience

• Certification in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Ansys, etc. (preferred for lab-related subjects)

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals

• Good communication and classroom management skills

• Patience and passion for teaching students at the diploma level.

• Ability to conduct practical/lab sessions effectively

• Familiarity with MSBTE academic structure, exams, and grading

Experience:

• 1–2 years of teaching or industrial experience preferred

• Freshers with strong technical and teaching aptitude may also be considered.

Remuneration:

As per the institute norms and MSBTE/Government regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
