Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor position in the Computer Science and Engineering department at Plastindia International University, located in Vapi. The appointed candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality course content, teaching undergraduate and graduate students, supervising research projects, and developing academic programs. The role also includes mentoring students, fostering their intellectual growth, contributing to academic initiatives, and staying involved in research and professional development to advance the university's mission.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in core Computer Science concepts, including algorithms, data structures, and software development
Experience in Curriculum Development and designing academic programs for undergraduate and graduate students
Knowledge and practical skills in Data Science and Cybersecurity
Proficiency in Programming and ability to teach a variety of languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, etc.)
Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
Proven academic or industry research contributions, with publications in reputable journals or conferences
Strong communication, mentoring, and organizational skills
Familiarity with modern pedagogical methods and digital teaching tools is an advantage
