Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering

Job Summary

The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering, engaging in research, guiding student projects, and contributing to departmental academic activities in line with institutional objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach core and elective subjects in Computer Science and Engineering such as Programming, Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, Database Systems, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud Computing.
• Develop course materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with the curriculum.
• Supervise student research projects, internships, and dissertations.
• Engage in research and publish papers in reputed journals and conferences.
• Participate in curriculum design, revision, and accreditation activities (NBA/NAAC).
• Mentor students academically and professionally.
• Collaborate with industry partners for guest lectures, workshops, and placements.
• Contribute to departmental administration, committees, and institutional development.

Qualifications

• M.E. / M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering or relevant discipline (First Class).
• Ph.D. (preferred or registered for Ph.D. in a recognized university).
• Strong academic record and effective communication skills.
• Experience in teaching, research, or industry will be an advantage.

Desired Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C/C++, or similar.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, ML, Cybersecurity, IoT, Data Science, and Cloud Computing.
• Ability to design innovative teaching methodologies and use digital tools effectively.
• Strong commitment to academic excellence and student development.

Salary

Commensurate with qualifications and experience as per AICTE norms.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹492,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
