Description Job Type: Regular Qualification: Good academic recordwith Masters Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines and should have qualified UGC NET/GATE/SLET or equivalent. Experience: Prior teaching, research and industry experience shallbe given additional weightage. Desirable: PhD with Research and Industry Experience. Roles & Responsibilities: Engage and deliver high-quality instructions in terms of teaching, labs, skilling and experiential learning to undergraduate and/or graduate students in their domain of expertise. Responsible for conducting original research, publishing findings in academic journals, presenting at conferences, and seeking external research funding. Supervising PhD Research Scholars for their PhD work. Initiate efforts to work with industries for student internships/ projects, training for industrial personnel and collaborative research grants. Participating in curriculum committees, propose new courses/labs, and update existing courses/labs to align with current trends and advancements in their field. Serving as academic advisors to students, providing guidance and support in their academic and career pursuits. Actively participate in departmental and university service activities. In case of candidates with exceptional track record of research, innovation and entrepreneurship in emerging areas, the university may select such candidates giving due additional weightage to aspects including their publication, patents, entrepreneurial ventures and handling of uniquen projects in technological, social and administrative domains.
