Assistant Production Merchandiser - Garments / Apparels

Role Overview: As an Assistant Production Merchandiser at Saku in Gurugram, you will play a crucial role in managing product development, merchandising, sourcing, supplier management, logistics coordination, and more. You will be part of the Production Merchandising team, ensuring timely production and maintaining relationships with various partners and vendors. Key Responsibilities: - Managing product development, from material sourcing to supplier negotiations, and ensuring timely production as per design - Coordinating with all raw materials, job workers, and production teams for smooth delivery - Identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with partners and vendors - Negotiating with suppliers and vendors on costing to achieve the best pricing - Planning and aligning production resources for efficient production flows - Making bill of material for bulk orders and production runs - Aligning sourcing of raw materials, trims, and accessories for bulk production - Visiting job workers and factories to track production progress - Maintaining daily detailed logs and updates for various production aspects - Keeping track of raw material consumption and updating everything in ERP software - Maintaining a library of all Lab-dip, accessories, and trims - Keeping master sheets for the website updated from techpaks Qualifications: - 2 - 4 years of experience in PD, buying, merchandising, and production - Experience with in-house production teams is a plus - Experience in bulk and small custom production runs is beneficial - Experience in startups is an added advantage - Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, accessories, and factory supplier base - Excellent communication and relationship building skills - Strong organization skills - Experience with ERP software is a plus - Graduate or postgraduate degree in textile/apparel/fashion technology (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description),
