Job Description

As an Assistant Product Manager at The Marcom Avenue in Gurgaon, you will collaborate closely with the Tech Lead and various teams to ensure a seamless product development and delivery process. Your responsibilities will include documenting business requirements, conducting research, supporting execution, and ensuring successful project delivery. You will assist the Tech Lead in creating and maintaining Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Product Requirement Documents (PRD). Your role will involve translating business and user needs into clear and structured product specifications, as well as maintaining product documentation, roadmaps, and sprint backlogs. Additionally, you will conduct market research to understand user behavior, industry trends, and competitors" strategies. By providing insights and recommendations for feature enhancements and new product opportunities, you will contribute to continuous improvement. Gathering feedback from customers, stakeholders, and internal teams will also be a part of your responsibilities. Supporting the product team in planning and defining Minimum Viable Product (MVP) features, assisting in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and prioritization, as well as ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery with engineering, design, and QA teams will be crucial aspects of your role. You will also be responsible for testing and validating new features before launch, collaborating with QA teams to align bug fixes and improvements with user expectations, and monitoring product performance metrics to provide actionable insights for optimization. Maintaining cross-functional collaboration with Tech, Design, and Business teams to ensure alignment on product goals, communicating product updates and changes to stakeholders effectively, and supporting the development of user guides, FAQs, and training materials for internal and external stakeholders are essential tasks for you. To excel in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or related fields. A strong understanding of BRD, PRD, and product development life cycles, familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Sprint methodologies, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently are required. Strong communication skills for working with technical and non-technical teams, a keen eye for detail and process optimization, and basic knowledge of SQL, wireframing, and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar) will be advantageous.
