Assistant Planning Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and monitoring project schedules, milestones, resource plans, and timelines for PEB projects.
  
• Coordinate with design, detailing, production, logistics, and site teams for smooth project flow.
  
• Review tender documents, project specifications, technical requirements, and commercial terms.
  
• Support in contract review, documentation, change order preparation, and version control.
  
• Create and maintain project trackers, weekly/monthly progress reports, RFIs, MOMs, and documentation logs.
  
• Support in dispatch planning, erection sequencing, and site coordination activities.
  
• Monitor project risks, delays, and highlight deviations to senior management.
  
• Assist in cost monitoring, material planning, BOQ verification, and billing coordination.
  
• Maintain effective communication with clients and internal teams for approvals and clarifications.
  
• Ensure adherence to project quality, safety standards, and company procedures.
  

Preferred Candidate Profile

• B.E/B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
  
• 48 years of experience in

  Planning / Project Coordination / Project Management

  within PEB, Structural Steel, or EPC industry.
• Strong understanding of PEB components, detailing process, project lifecycle, and erection sequence.
  
• Working knowledge of

  contracts review, tender documents, and commercial terms

  preferred.
• Proficient in MS Project/Primavera, MS Excel, and project tracking tools.
  
• Ability to read GA drawings, MTOs, schedules, and technical specifications.
  
• Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
  
• Strong analytical ability with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
  
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under minimal supervision.
