Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager - Payroll. The ideal candidate will have expertise in payroll processing, compliance, and employee relations, with excellent Excel skills and strong communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in managing the payroll process for 500+ employees across multiple locations

- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, adhering to labor laws and company policies

- Handle employee queries and concerns related to payroll, providing timely resolutions

- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure payroll accuracy

- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to implement process improvements

- Prepare payroll reports and analytics, providing insights for business decisions

Requirements:

-5 o 10 years of experience in payroll processing and compliance

- Excellent Excel skills and ability to handle complex data analysis

- Strong communication and employee relations skills

- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations (PF, ESI, PT, etc.)

- Graduate degree in Commerce or related field

- Certification in Payroll Management or related field (preferred)

Desired Skills:

- Experience with payroll software (e.g., Tally, SAP, etc.)

- Knowledge of retail industry payroll processes

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
