Assistant Manager – Operations

Roles & Responsibilities:

Operations Management & Execution

  • Oversee and execute day-to-day operations related to investor transactions, onboarding, KYC, and documentation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of investments, redemptions, payouts, and reporting workflows.
  • Maintain a high level of data accuracy and compliance across all operational touchpoints.

Investor Lifecycle & Support

  • Coordinate with investor relations to manage onboarding, document collection, verification, and platform activation.
  • Maintain up-to-date investor records in CRM systems and ensure alignment with compliance standards (SEBI, RERA).
  • Serve as an internal escalation point for investor-related operational queries.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure all investor documents and agreements meet regulatory standards.
  • Support audit processes by maintaining clean records and providing required reports/documentation.
  • Stay updated on compliance norms and operational regulations relevant to investment operations.

Platform & Process Coordination

  • Work with the tech team to test, improve, and manage the functionality of internal dashboards and investor portals.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare and manage internal reports and dashboards to track operational KPIs, investment flows, and compliance checklists.
  • Provide data insights and support business teams with timely information to aid decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with finance on reconciliations, disbursements, and financial reporting.
  • Liaise with marketing and investor relations to support campaign execution, investor communication, and event operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in operations, preferably within real estate, fintech, or investment platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex workflows.
  • Good understanding of compliance frameworks and investor operations.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM/ERP platforms.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Traits:

  • Experience in a startup or proptech / fintech environment.
  • Familiarity with SEBI, RERA, and KYC norms.
  • Passion for enabling seamless investor experiences through strong backend execution.
