Assistant Officer (Calcium Chloride)

Qualification- BSc./Diploma with experience of 4+ years in a continuous process chemical plant (preferably CaCl). .

Responsibilities:

1. Plant Operation

• Monitor and control

  plant parameters

  under the direction of the

  Shift In-Charge / DCS Supervisor

  .
• Operate field equipment such as

  pumps, valves, conveyors, fans, dryers, and utilities

  as per SOPs.
• Perform safe

  startup, shutdown, and emergency operations

  following established procedures.
• Provide accurate

  field feedback

  and coordinate with the DCS Supervisor to maintain stable plant performance.
• Regularly check and maintain process parameters

  temperature, pressure, flow, and level

  within prescribed limits.
• Promptly

  report any abnormalities, equipment malfunctions, or process deviations

  to the supervisor.

2. Housekeeping & Safety

• Maintain high standards of

  cleanliness and housekeeping

  in the assigned plant area.
• Follow all

  safety rules and procedures

  and ensure correct use of

  Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  .
• Identify, report, and assist in resolving

  unsafe conditions, near-miss incidents

  , or potential hazards.
• Actively participate in

  safety meetings, toolbox talks, and EHS training programs

  .

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Record

  daily process readings, equipment status, and production data

  in log sheets accurately and on time.
• Assist in preparing

  daily shift reports

  and maintaining

  logbooks

  for process and equipment activities.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of records related to

  production, downtime, and material consumption

  .

4. Coordination

• Coordinate with

  DCS operators, maintenance, instrumentation, and utility teams

  to ensure smooth and efficient plant operation.
• Support

  minor maintenance

  or process adjustments as instructed by the Shift In-Charge.
• Assist in

  preventive maintenance and plant shutdown activities

  as required

Education:

- BSc./Diploma with experience of 4+ years in a continuous process chemical plant (preferably CaCl).

- Understanding of process flow diagrams and P&ID,

- DCS operation concepts, and chemical handling.

- Good understanding of chemical process operations

- Basic troubleshooting and observation skills

- Teamwork and coordination ability

- Safety and housekeeping awareness

Willingness to work in shifts and field conditions
