We are Hiring a Assistant Manager - NPD for a leading Pharmaceutical Packaging Medical Device Brand.

Education

• B.Sc. / B.E. / B. Pharm with Postgraduate Diploma in Packaging
• B. Tech in Packaging Technology
• Masters degree in Packaging Technology

Roles & Responsiblities:

• Design and qualify primary, secondary & tertiary packaging for syringes, vials, and cartridges handling.
• Develop and optimize pelletized packaging pallet load design ensuring stability on storage, efficiency, and transport safety.
• Conduct transport simulation studies drop, vibration, compression, tilt, climatic chamber for both shipper and palletized shipments.
• Assess and optimize material properties mechanical strength, film thickness, barrier properties to meet regulatory and operational needs.
• Evaluate & implement sustainable packaging solutions and perform LCA to support cost reduction and eco-friendly initiatives, identify recyclable possibility.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with ISO 11607, USP 1207, ISTA, ASTM, and international packaging regulations.
• Collaborate with NPD, Production, QA, SCM, and vendors to drive innovation, cost optimization, and risk-free logistics.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation for internal team.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration and reporting.

Essential Area of Knowledge:

• Technical experience in pharmaceutical/medical packaging development.
• Strong understanding of secondary & tertiary packaging materials across multiple MOC PP, PET, PE, paperboard, biodegradable films and their end applications.
• Expertise in packaging material properties evaluation: film thickness, tensile/mechanical strength, puncture resistance, sustainability profile.
• Knowledge of sustainable packaging design principles and Life Cycle Assessment LCA for environmental and cost optimization.
• Exposure of pelletize packing & transport simulation studies.
• Knowledge of international packaging standards and regulations: ISO 11607, USP , ISTA protocols, ASTM D4169, FDA/EU guidelines.
