Assistant Merchandiser

As an Assistant Merchandiser at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the merchandising team throughout the product development cycle. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will be highly valued in ensuring the successful management of sampling, production, and shipment processes. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in sampling development, follow-up, and approvals. - Coordinate between buyers, factories, and vendors for daily updates. - Maintain T&A (Time and Action) calendars and ensure all deadlines are met. - Track fabric and trim sourcing, lab dips, and approvals. - Support in costing, order confirmation, and production follow-ups. - Ensure proper documentation and reporting for each order. - Assist in quality checks, inspection coordination, and shipment tracking. - Communicate effectively to resolve day-to-day merchandising challenges. Skills & Attributes Required: - Strong communication and follow-up skills (verbal and written). - Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability. - Good knowledge of sampling, trims, fabrics, and garment construction. - Hands-on experience with Excel, emails, and basic merchandising formats. - Ability to multitask and work efficiently under deadlines. - A positive, solution-oriented, and team-driven attitude. Qualification: - Graduate or Diploma in Fashion/Apparel Merchandising/Textile/Related Field. - Prior experience in export/import or buying house preferred.
