Assistant Merchandiser

You will be responsible for the following: - Following up orders with vendors, customers, and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery. - Thoroughly reviewing Cost packages & Purchase Orders to ensure accuracy of all data before submitting to Merchandise Supervisor or Manager. - Handling and communicating customers" requirements clearly and accurately to factories and ensuring vendors" understanding. - Monitoring delivery status to ensure on-time production by coordinating closely with vendors and the production team. - Checking and arranging sample submission directly to customers for approval unless any complication arises. - Obtaining MS or MM consent advice. - Ensuring timely submission of documents from factories, such as vendor review reports, cost break-ups, mini markers, etc. - Following up and ensuring/monitoring safety issues (CPSIA, XRF screening) with vendors/suppliers and reporting to MS or MM. - Regularly visiting Vendors Facility for follow-up meetings and providing recap meeting/discussions to SM and advising of any potential risks. - Monitoring and making Wash Standard available from LWR and ensuring timely submission of WAS by Vendor. - Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor. In a candidate, we will be looking for the following skills and qualifications: Skills: - Self-motivated and well-disciplined to follow LWR SOP. - Ability to work independently and act proactively. - Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access). - Good command of spoken and written English. - Ability to communicate effectively with internal functions, vendors Laundry team. - Confidence with a Can-Do attitude. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and local language in both oral and written communication.
