Assistant Market Analyst

This is a full-time, on-site role for Assistant Market Analyst, located in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. This role entails supporting the research and analytics team through comprehensive secondary research, market data analysis, and preparation of insightful market reports. The Assistant Market Analyst will contribute to understanding market dynamics, identifying emerging trends, and providing actionable insights to support business and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• UG/PG: Preferably in Economics/ Statistics / Mathematics / Data Analytics/ Research in Maritime Industry
• Very high standards of written and spoken English, at least C1 level of proficiency.
• Proficiency in office software and tools
• Meticulous and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently
• A penchant for accuracy and consistency

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conducting exhaustive secondary research (through databases, annual reports, company websites, government and ministry websites, journals) and primary research, if required
2. Data mining and research database management
3. Analysis of market dynamics, industry variables, competitive intelligence, and other market information
4. Data analysis and visualization using relevant software like Tableau.
5. Assisting with writing the market research reports
