Assistant Manager - Water System/General Civil Works

Purpose/Objective

The role of Asst. Manager - (Water System/General Civil Works) is pivotal in ensuring the efficient design, execution, and maintenance of water systems and general civil works at Adani Power’s Raigarh facility. This position supports the operational excellence of the power plant by managing critical infrastructure projects, optimizing water resource management, and ensuring alignment with Adani Power’s mission to deliver quality and affordable electricity. The role directly contributes to the operational reliability and sustainability of the plant, leveraging advanced methodologies and technologies to meet the business unit’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of water systems, including pipelines, reservoirs, and treatment facilities, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with project specifications. - Manage general civil works related to the power plant, including structural repairs, roadworks, and drainage systems, to maintain infrastructure integrity. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure water systems and civil works align with the plant’s operational requirements and sustainability goals. - Conduct site inspections and audits to monitor project progress, quality, and adherence to safety standards. - Optimize water resource utilization by implementing innovative solutions and technologies to reduce wastage and improve efficiency. - Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for water systems and civil works projects. - Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services within budget constraints. - Develop and implement maintenance schedules for water systems and civil infrastructure to minimize downtime and enhance reliability. - Provide technical support and guidance to the operations team for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to water systems and civil works. - Ensure alignment of all activities with Adani Power’s strategic initiatives and operational benchmarks.

Qualifications and Experience
