We are seeking a dynamic and experienced person to lead and manage all aspects of our supplier relationships across our extensive network. This role is crucial in growing our transportation business, driving cost-effectiveness, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
1. Responsible for building vendor depth through qualified leads from the central
team for assigned lanes. You will be required to be on field for 80% of time.
2. Responsible to collect new leads for assigned lanes through field visits and
drive end to end vendor onboarding
3. Collect required documents from vendors for onboarding and coordinate
with the vendor desk team for onboarding of vendors.
4. Manage the entire funnel of vendor discovery, onboarding, service levels
& retention.
5. Drive price negotiations with vendors to ensure lane profitability over time.
6. Work with the sales team to procure market information and knowledge
on rate trends, vehicle availability, demand shift impacts etc.
7. Generate service levels by aligning the supply with Delhivery's goals and
carry out training of supply partners for various business processes.
8. Must be flexible in changing the locations.
1. Experience in Sales/Vendor Onboarding with previous
experience in field/ground work.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Ability to negotiate and manage vendor relationships.
4. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth logistics environment.
5. Strong coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams
