About the Role:

Onboarding Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate and manage the onboarding process for new hires including offer letters, background checks, drug tests, document collection, and orientation coordination.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all onboarding paperwork and compliance requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing high-quality support via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Track, update, and maintain onboarding status reports and ensure data integrity in the onboarding platform.
  • Release and monitor onboarding and background verification status on a daily basis.
  • Escalate issues appropriately and follow through on all pending candidate inquiries or documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline onboarding processes and improve candidate experience.
  • Consistently meet or exceed defined

    Onboarding SLAs

    (timeliness, accuracy, and satisfaction).
  • Drive continuous improvements by suggesting process enhancements and maintaining compliance with client guidelines.

Performance Metrics

  • Percentage of candidates successfully on boarded.
  • Candidate satisfaction with onboarding experience.
  • Timeliness and quality of responses.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in documentation and compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree (any discipline).
  • Minimum

    6+ years of experience

    in US onboarding, compliance, and background verification (for full-time and contract placements).
  • Prior experience in

    HR, employee onboarding

    role.
  • Excellent

    written, verbal, and interpersonal communication

    skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in

    MS Office

    and internet research tools.
  • Highly proactive, motivated, and results-driven with a customer-centric mindset.
