Key Responsibilities

Program Design & Execution

• Organize and deliver at least 12 Janaspandana events annually across Bengaluru and Karnataka.
• Ensure citizen–leader interactions are structured, with clear charters of demands and timelines.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with MLAs, corporators, bureaucrats, RWAs, NGOs, and community activists.
• Facilitate follow-ups by ensuring officials share contact details for grievance redressal.

Media & Communication

• Drive event promotions through print, radio, digital, and hyperlocal outreach.
• Collaborate with Deccan Herald and Prajavani editorial teams for pre- and post-event coverage.
• Highlight citizen voices and stories to build credibility and trust.

Accountability & Reporting

• Document charters of demands and publish official responses.
• Track progress and provide sustained reporting to ensure closure of issues.

Impact Measurement

• Showcase tangible outcomes such as solar lighting in parks, medical units, or police station upgrades.
• Contribute to broader policy reforms, including improvements to RTI processes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Background in community engagement, journalism, or public policy.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Experience managing large events (500–1000 participants).
• Proven ability to work with government, civil society, and media stakeholders.
• Commitment to accountability, transparency, and grassroots problem solving.
