Job Description

Position Details Position Assistant Manager-Seed Production Research Business Unit Mahindra Agri Solutions Ltd (Seeds business) Reports To Manager-Seed Production Research Place of Posting Huzurabad, Karimnagar Key Deliverables (or outputs of the role)

1 Planning coordinating and observing all aspects for research on hybrid Paddy seed production at different production locations to ensure flowering synchronization seed yield and ensuring quality along with R&D field station. Field monitoring data collection and analysis related to SPR.

2 Ensure execution of quality SPR trials at production location, collection of quality data, analysis and recommendation to production team.

3 Collaborating with production and R&D team for better understanding from seed to seed for decision making in PAM.

4 Develop trials to address production challenges with discussion to production team.

5 Execution of multiple types of multilocation trials to analyze the parental lines performance.

6 Keep current on emerging trends, tools, and technologies coming internally and externally.

7 Ensures all action plans implemented in trial sites towards germplasm security.

8 Identification of new paddy seed production locations for existing products Job Requirements Experience (years)

2 to 5 yrs Industry Preferred Seed industry Qualification BSc (Agri), / M. Sc. (Agri) / Ph. D. in Agri Sciences or related. Critical Traits & Behavioral Competencies Critical Traits / Behavioral Competencies Good Communication skills with team and management Problem solving & decision making skills Ability to work with cross functional teams and should be a good team player. Good people management and team building skills. Innovative and quick learner of changes in process /procedures / systems / software application(s).

Ability to provide constant guidance and motivation as per the changes to get the task done. Functional / Technical Skills & Knowledge Seed production knowledge across a range of field crops Implementation and testing of regional seed production strategies. Organization; planning, pro-activity, and reactivity Leadership; Flexibility and Availability Communication: impactful, open-minded, with an aptitude to develop easy contacts with all customers Cross functional and multi-cultural project management aptitude MS Office & Knowledge of data analysis
