Job Summary:

Assistant Manager Marketing

Educational Qualification:

  • B.Sc. (Agriculture) – Mandatory
  • MBA in

    Marketing / Agribusiness Management

    from a recognized institute – Preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum

    08–10 years of experience

    in agri-input marketing (preferably seeds), including

    3–5 years in a managerial/leadership role

    .
  • Proven track record of handling

    regional or national-level marketing operations

    .
  • Candidates with higher relevant experience and proven leadership track record may be considered for a higher position.

Age Limit:

  • Preferably below

    45 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the

    strategic planning and execution

    of the company’s business plan across designated zones.
  • Develop and expand a robust

    channel partner/distributor network

    in target and potential markets.
  • Gather and analyze

    market intelligence

    , competitor insights, and farmer preferences to formulate effective market penetration strategies.
  • Drive

    market development

    initiatives in emerging geographies to expand brand footprint and customer base.
  • Oversee and ensure

    timely product placement

    and inventory planning across supply chain partners.
  • Coordinate with production and logistics for

    demand forecasting and supply alignment

    .
  • Design and implement effective

    after-sales service models

    for farmer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Monitor and drive

    sales performance, liquidation of stocks

    , and revenue growth across regions.
  • Organize and supervise

    field promotions, product demos, farmer meetings, agri-expos

    , and seasonal campaigns.
  • Mentor and lead

    Sales Assistants / Area Marketing Executives

    , building a high-performing marketing team.
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, and finance teams for aligned decision-making and integrated business planning.
  • Represent the company at

    industry platforms, government forums

    , and strategic customer meetings.
