Key Responsibilities: Branch-Level Accounting & Operations: Independently manage all accounting functions at the branch level Handle cash and bank transactions , including receipts, payments, and reconciliations Maintain books of accounts , including journal entries, ledgers, and vouchers Supervise billing, purchase accounting , store entries , and milk procurement accounting Vendor & Payment Processing: Scrutinize and process vendor bills for procurement, services, logistics , and other operational expenses Coordinate with plant operations and procurement teams for PO and invoice matching Ensure timely vendor payments and maintain updated vendor ledgers Compliance Coordination: Ensure timely and accurate branch-level inputs for GST, TDS, PF, ESI , and other statutory filings Support in the preparation of data for return filings and audits handled by Head Office Maintain proper documentation and statutory registers at the branch Financial Reporting & MIS: Prepare Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, and Balance Sheet for the branch Generate monthly MIS reports on income, expenditure, liabilities, and statutory dues Assist in cost control, budgeting, and plant-wise financial analysis ERP System & Audit Support: Maintain accurate accounting entries in Tally ERP Support internal, statutory, and tax audits by preparing and submitting required data Coordinate with central accounts and audit teams for compliance and reconciliation Educational Qualification: CA Inter or ICWA (CMA) Inter with experience in the dairy or food processing industry Experience: • Minimum 810 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts , with at least 2–3 years of independent branch/unit handling experience in dairy, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors Skills Required: • Strong practical knowledge of branch accounting, cash/bank operations, and expense control. • Familiar with Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel Good understanding of statutory compliance (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, etc.) Excellent analytical, documentation, and coordination skills Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines under pressure Strong understanding of computerized accounting environments and compliance systems

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Assistant Manager Finance (Taxation & GST) for our dairy operations. The role will focus on managing all aspects of indirect and direct taxation, ensuring GST compliance , timely filing of returns, handling audits and assessments, and maintaining statutory compliance in line with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in manufacturing or dairy sector accounting systems and should be able to manage tax responsibilities across multiple units and plant locations .
