Key Responsibilities: Handling the manpower in shifts. Conduct analysis on raw milk, in-process samples, and finished products per BIS and FSSAI guidelines; review and verify results by signing records. Manage chemical inventory, ensuring availability of working solutions and adherence to approved procedures. Analyze chemical parameters for in-process water, reporting concerns immediately; monitor weights for finished products and communicate findings. Operate laboratory equipment in compliance with guidelines, ensuring regular calibration and maintenance. Ensure compliance of finished products with specifications, and analyze keeping quality samples at required frequencies. Collect and review shift records promptly, along with swab samples in the absence of the microbiologist. Address and record customer complaints, communicate deviations for corrective actions, and maintain a customer feedback register. Conduct on-the-job training for sample collection team and lab assistants, promoting good laboratory practices and PPE usage. Collect and preserve reference samples, conducting random counter sample analysis on raw and finished milk. Implement FSMS protocols and maintain relevant records while monitoring distribution centre and cold room temperatures, reporting deviations immediately Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues. Work in rotational shifts (24/7/365) to ensure continuous quality assurance processes.
