Job Description Summary Assistant Manager [Sales] The Assistant Manager (Sales) plays a key role in driving business growth by acquiring and managing clients from Government, PSU, and Private sectors , particularly within the travel and holiday industry , including the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segment. The primary responsibility of the role is to meet assigned revenue and contribution targets by effectively qualifying and converting leads into long-term business opportunities. These leads may originate from digital marketing campaigns, industry events, references, tradeshows , and cold calling . The incumbent will be involved in preparing competitive quotes and proposals , managing client accounts, and overseeing debtor follow-ups . Regular engagement with clients through meetings, conferences, and events is essential for relationship building and business development. Additionally, the role requires active participation in industry forums and staying updated with trends and developments in the MICE and travel segments to maintain a competitive edge. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for issuing operational documents such as billing and preparing Management Information System (MIS) reports to support business performance tracking. This position demands strong communication, client servicing, and negotiation skills, along with the flexibility to take on other responsibilities as assigned , based on evolving business requirements. Minimum Qualification: MTM or Equivalent , MBA , Graduate Engineer , or Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) Candidates with a postgraduate degree/diploma (MBA or equivalent) may be preferred Preferred Experience: Candidates with sales experience in the travel and holiday industry will be given preference
