As an Assistant Manager - Revenue Assurance at Meesho, you will play a vital role in ensuring the company's financial success by strategically directing the revenue and receivables charter from the Finance team. You will be part of a dynamic team of professionals working in various domains such as Financial Reporting, Finance Operations, Business Finance, Treasury Management, and Taxation. The team comprises individuals with diverse backgrounds, including Chartered Accountants, Business experts, and Engineers with prior experience in internationally renowned organizations. In your role, you will analyze and resolve issues related to revenue and collection lines by collaborating with business, product, and finance stakeholders to prevent financial leakage. You will work with a team of finance and business experts dedicated to delivering best-in-class experiences to stakeholders. Automation will be a key focus to enhance workflow efficiencies and accuracy. **Key Responsibilities:** - Continually validate and improve the robust control framework for revenue to ensure correctness, completeness, and comprehensiveness of booked revenue. - Minimize revenue leakages through root cause analysis, collaboration with Product and Analysts, and implementing necessary fixes via automation. - Ensure timely and accurate closure of activities related to revenue recognition. - Conduct 3-way reconciliation between Revenue, Collection, and agreed SLAs. - Utilize Business Analysts for Revenue Assurance to build dashboards and perform root cause analysis. - Drive automation in revenue-related tasks and workflows to enhance efficiency. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address variations at the root cause level. - Prepare accounting memos for new revenue streams to ensure compliance with accounting standards. - Analyze KPIs, conduct variance analysis, and highlight any deviations. - Lead statutory and internal audits for revenue and receivables. **Qualifications Required:** - Chartered Accountant. - Problem-solving mindset with the ability to proactively identify challenges and devise effective solutions. - Proficiency in applying technical accounting guidance for Revenue Recognition. - Strong prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines. - Articleship experience in Big 4 preferred. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to multitask, think critically, and execute tactically. - Proven track record of finding innovative solutions to problems.
