Assistant Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and managing production activities to meet output, quality, and cost targets.
• Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, product quality, and adherence to safety standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth production flow.
• Analyze production data and reports to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective measures.
• Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor production supervisors and staff to enhance team performance and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Manage resource allocation including manpower, machinery, and materials to optimize production schedules.
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and reporting activities related to production operations.
• Facilitate effective communication between production teams and other departments.
• Quality circle team formation and execution 1 projects in quarter.
