Assistant Manager/ Property Accounting

Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager/Property Accounting for our client company in Mohali, your primary responsibilities will include: Key Responsibilities: - General Accounting (RTR): - Maintain accurate accounting books. - Develop and maintain financial reporting systems to provide timely and accurate financial information to management. - Generate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. - Team Leadership and Development: - Supervise and mentor a large accounting team of approximately 60 associates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. - Oversee day-to-day operations of general ledger activities, reconciliations, and cash postings. - Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities. - Process Improvement: - Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve overall efficiency. - Implement best practices to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of financial reporting. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. MBA in Finance preferred. - Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant Manager or in a similar role. - In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and team management. - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Proficient in accounting software such as Yardi and RealPage, as well as the MS Office Suite. - Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
