• In-depth understanding of compression, transfer, and injection molding processes.
• Knowledge of rubber compounds, curing cycles, mold design, and de-molding techniques
• Knowledge of rubber-specific quality parameters (e.g., hardness, tensile strength, elongation, bonding).
• Root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions for defects like flash, air traps, scorch, or short fill.
• Hands-on experience with rubber molding machines (manual, semi-auto, fully automatic).
• Capability to identify process parameters like temperature, pressure, and curing time.
• Application of lean tools (5S, Kaizen, SMED, TPM) in the production floor.
• Focus on reducing cycle time, improving productivity, and minimizing scrap and rework.
