Assistant Manager (Process Support) - Business Development & Licensing (Andheri, Mumbai)

Role & responsibilities

• Work closely with the business development team to understand customer requirements and translate them into feasible manufacturing plans.
• Coordinate with various departments (e.g., R&D, quality control, production, and regulatory affairs) to ensure alignment in evaluating process optimization.
• Support the creation of timelines and execution plans for potential manufacturing projects.
• Continuously assess and identify opportunities for process optimization to reduce manufacturing costs.
• Ensure all potential risks are identified and managed, particularly with regard to safety, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of technical evaluations, feasibility reports, and any changes to product requirements.
• Generate regular reports to track the progress of evaluations, feasibility studies, and CAPEX requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including formulation, packaging, and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of process optimization, capacity mapping, and production planning.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for customer interactions and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
• 6-8 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, product evaluation, or technical operations within the pharmaceutical industry. Prior Experience in Topical Dosage form preferred
