Job Description

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

1. High-Volume Team Management & Leadership

  • Team Leadership:

    Directly manage, mentor, and motivate a large team of

    $40$ to $50$ Sales/Telecalling Executives

    to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Performance Monitoring:

    Closely monitor daily and weekly team performance KPIs (call volume, conversion rates, talk time, attendance, quality scores) and implement immediate corrective actions.
  • Roster & Attendance:

    Manage team schedules, leave requests, and adherence to company policies to ensure optimal floor coverage and productivity.

2. Sales Strategy & Target Achievement

  • Target Ownership:

    Take complete ownership of the team's aggressive revenue goals and sales targets for designated insurance products (Life, Health, or Motor).
  • Sales Execution:

    Develop and deploy effective daily, weekly, and monthly sales plans, contests, and incentive schemes to drive maximum productivity and engagement.
  • Process Improvement:

    Identify bottlenecks in the sales funnel and propose data-backed improvements to the process, script, and training modules.

3. Coaching, Quality & Retention

  • Coaching & Development:

    Conduct regular group training, one-on-one performance reviews, and side-by-side coaching to enhance soft skills, product knowledge, and objection handling techniques.
  • Quality Control:

    Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to audit calls and ensure all sales activities adhere to regulatory compliance standards and Policybazaar's service quality benchmarks.
  • Attrition Management:

    Implement strategies focused on employee engagement, career growth, and proactive issue resolution to manage and significantly reduce team attrition.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience:

    A minimum of

    7+ years of total work experience

    , with extensive time spent in a

    Telesales, Call Center, or BPO environment

    within the

    BFSI/Insurance/Fintech

    sector.
  • Management Scale:

    Proven experience managing a large team, ideally a minimum of

    30-40 people or more

    , for a sustained period.
  • Telecalling Expertise:

    Deep, hands-on knowledge of telecalling best practices, script optimization, and telesales metrics.
  • Education:

    Graduate or Post-Graduate in any discipline.
  • Technical Skills:

    Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), MS Excel, and effective data analysis for performance reporting.
