Role & responsibilities

• To lead Preparation section responsible to deliver monthly production plan of connection plates and Built up sections (I, H, Star, Box sections) within budgeted cost and time.
• Excellence & extensive exposure in modern manufacturing methodology processing high volume of PEB /Structural steel fabrication facility comprising manual, semi-auto and NC /CNC based conventional and state of the art Laser, Plasma, Oxy-Fuel, shearing, punching, Drilling, Saw welding, robotic based processing lines along with in depth knowledge of related tools, tackles, consumables, jigs and fixture etc.
• Control and maintain scrap % below target, effective utilization of RM and offcut material and efficient stock management.
• Customer centric attitude with good business acumen and aptitude for safety, quality, productivity, cost control, continuous improvement and commitment to schedule in addition to great man management skill are vital requirement of the position.
• Analytical ability to manage and analyse large data, critical thinking for effective and efficient process and production planning are vital for successful delivery.
• Lead and drive 5S, KAIZEN, and Autonomous Maintenance by collaborating effectively with maintenance and other cross functional teams for continuous improvement in Uptime and OEE of critical production lines.
• Track competencies of subordinates and provide leadership, training for continuous improvement and development of processes and team.

Ensure implementation and evolution of safety procedure, Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed, Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programs.
