Assistant Manager

We are seeking a Post-Production Manager to oversee and manage the post-processing workflow for our photography team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in photo editing, managing a team of editors, and ensuring that all images meet the company’s high standards before delivery to clients. You will work closely with photographers and the creative team to maintain consistency and quality across all projects. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that the final product exceeds client expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team of photo editors, ensuring the timely and efficient completion of post-production tasks.
• Edit, retouch, and enhance images to ensure they meet the company’s style and quality standards.
• Organize and prioritize workflows to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.
• Implement and refine post-production processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Review and approve final edits before delivery to clients, ensuring consistency and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with photographers and other departments to ensure a smooth transition from shoot to post-production.
• Maintain and organize photo libraries, ensuring proper file management and archival systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest post-production techniques and trends in the photography industry.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Post-Production Manager or similar role in a photography or creative environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Lightroom, and other photo editing software.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of editors.
• A keen eye for detail, with the ability to enhance images while preserving their natural beauty.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A passion for photography and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Experience with color correction, retouching, and creating consistent styles across multiple images.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Experience in wedding photography post-production.
• Familiarity with video editing and motion graphics is a plus.
