Assistant Manager- Management Accounting

As a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional at Colgate India, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of the Toothbrush and Personal Care business. Your ability to collaborate with various teams and translate financial data into actionable insights will drive strategic business decisions. Here is a detailed overview of your responsibilities and qualifications: **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement strategic pricing decisions to improve profitability and enhance market competitiveness. - Evaluate promotional activities, conduct ROI analysis, and optimize marketing effectiveness for the business's benefit. - Manage the profitability of Toothbrush and Personal Care brands effectively. - Act as a key financial advisor for Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain teams. - Lead the forecasting process in coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and insightful P&L forecasts. - Supervise the monthly closing process and prepare detailed management reports, including tracking key performance indicators. - Provide in-depth analysis of business performance as part of the monthly reporting cycle. - Manage budgeting and forecasting for Toothbrush and Personal Care products. - Generate comprehensive reports on the performance of new product innovations. - Participate in finance function automation and digitization projects to enhance efficiency and accuracy. **Qualifications:** - Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience. - Strong background in business and FP&A. - Excellent analytical and reasoning skills. - Effective communication and presentation abilities. - Proficiency in financial software and tools like SAP or similar systems.
