Assistant Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Understanding of Customer requirements and Vehicle Technical Specifications.
• Generating detailed technical specifications (SSTS/TTS) of Power Train system to ensure functional objectives & technical performance desired from Vehicle are met.
• Manage Technical Specifications documents to ensure alignment of requirements with End user & Supplier base.
• Manage end-to-end vehicle integration projects from concept to production launch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including powertrain, transmission, engine, and vehicle integration teams.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for new product development projects.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical support to customers during pre-production testing phases.
• Preparation of Project related documents like project files, compilation of testing reports, specifications, requirements, inputs sheets, PDR & CDRs.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-5 years of experience in automotive industry with expertise in B.Tech/B.E. (Automobile) or equivalent degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of engine components, powertrain systems, transmission technologies, and vehicle integration processes.
• Proficiency in creating detailed drawings using CAD software.
• Knowledge & Proficient in reading & understanding 2D Engineering Drawings.
• Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering Materials (Ferrous & Non Ferrous used in Mechanical Engineering of Heavy Vehicle design & manufacturing)
