1. Organize and conduct inspections at incoming, in-process, and final stages for all materials and manufacturing processes affecting product quality.
2. Initiate actions on potential and observed non-conformities.
3. Effectively monitor and manage customer complaints.
4. Ensure that supplier-provided products meet specified requirements.
5. Plan and execute process audits, product audits, layout inspections, etc.
6. Develop and implement MSA (Measurement System Analysis) and SPC (Statistical Process Control) plans.
7. Initiate and oversee calibration activities.
8. Identify training needs for subordinates within the department.
9. Maintain accurate and necessary records.
10. Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
11. Take proactive actions to reduce PPM (Parts Per Million) defects.
12. Review and approve SPC charts and MSA studies.
13. Oversee acceptance and release of materials at all production stages.
14. Initiate preventive and corrective actions for non-conforming products.
15. Make decisions regarding rejection of non-conforming products.
16. Exercise authority to hold products/processes due to non-conformance.
17. Possess strong knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 standards.
18. Prepare PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation and submit required documents during development and 4M (Man, Machine, Material, Method) changes.
19. Coordinate and support teams during customer audits/visits, and ensure timely closure of any concerns raised.
20. Demonstrate working knowledge of Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP) and conduct internal audits
