Technical SME (CCTV + Video wall, AV/VC) + UPS

Role Purpose

We are looking for L3 Engineer who can manage crucial role in maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting various security camera systems to ensure they are functional and efficient.   • Video Surveillance Technician Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a video surveillance technician role
  • Certification in video surveillance technology (e.g. CCNA Security, CompTIA Security+)
  • Associate's degree in a related field (e.g. electronics, computer technology)
  • 2+ years of experience in a video surveillance technician role
  • Strong technical knowledge of video surveillance equipment and software
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • System Design & Installation:
  • Plan, design, and install integrated systems including CCTV cameras, video walls, audio/visual (AV), video conferencing (VC), and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units.
  • Configuration & Integration:
  • Configure hardware and software, and integrate these systems with existing IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operation.
  • Maintenance & Repair:
  • Perform routine checks, preventive maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting to resolve complex issues.
  • Technical Support:
  • Provide expert-level technical support to users and on-site engineers for various AV/VC platforms and CCTV systems.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, maintenance activities, and service records.
  • Quality Control:
  • Conduct quality control tests and perform site surveys to ensure optimal camera placement and system performance.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work with clients and internal teams to assess risks, recommend solutions, and provide end-user training.
  • Technology Updates:
  • Stay informed about the latest technologies and trends in video surveillance, AV, VC, and power systems to recommend upgrades.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Deep knowledge of CCTV hardware and software, video wall technology, AV/VC equipment (e.g., Crestron, QSC, Cisco, Microsoft Teams Rooms), and UPS systems.
  • Networking Fundamentals:
  • Strong understanding of networking principles, including IP systems for CCTV and AV/VC.
  • Teamwork & Independence:
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's or technical degree in IT, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is often required.
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in installing, maintaining, and supporting advanced AV, VC, and CCTV systems

  • Softskills

  • Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with users and document issues clearly.

  • Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, and common desktop applications.

A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and a high level of user satisfaction.

  • ITILKnowledge:
